Day 115: Tuck Impresses a Fan
The big guy is NY Giants DE Justin Tuck and he's making quite an impression on one young fan.
Yesterday I took my sons to the Giants training camp in Albany. After practice the Giants had a couple of players come out and talk to the kids for a bit. First was Tuck, who told them how important it was to get a good education.
After that was Eli Manning, who tried to talk about physical fitness but it was hard to tell because the crowd went a little bonkers at his appearance. This is completely normal at camp these days. Seven years ago, when he was a rookie, I very easily got his autograph for my first son at training camp. Now, after he's won a Super Bowl, it's just about impossible. Every time he appears, huge crowds flock to him and insanity ensues. Yesterday, I actually pulled my sons away from an opportunity to get Eli's autograph because I was genuinely concerned about them getting stampeded by the crowd.
