Written by John Shea I know there are fans of Daredevil out there, I've talked to them, even if I don't understand them.  But that group should probably forget a sequel.  The guy behind the red leather isn't interested.

Speaking to SCI FI Wire, Ben Affleck confessed a lack of interest in doing another Daredevil movie.  "I don't know about Daredevil II," Affleck said in an interview while promoting his upcoming SF movie Paycheck. "That may be too much work for me. I don't have any idea."

He didn't totally rule out doing another movie but he would need a really good reason to do so.  "I suppose that if Kevin Smith wrote it and was going to be involved, I would do it," he said.

He did say he'd be willing to reprise the role for the proposed Elektra spinoff.  "I would do some sort of cameo in Jen's movie—she's going to do Elektra—just because she's cool, and she's my friend. But I'm not banging down the door trying to get Daredevil II made. You'll know when my career is really on the slide when I start resurrecting the franchise."
