After attending a record setting San Diego Comicon for the weekend (over 100,000 people were in attendance on Saturday), I have to confess to still being shell shocked from the whole experience. Hordes of people dress as Anime, Video Game, Move, and Comic book characters roamed the crammed convention center. And that’s not even addressing the ren, goth, and original creations that people paraded about. As always there were too many panels, too many speakers, and too many sights to be seen to be able to report on everything. But I did manage to attend a fair bit in my time there.
In the coming days you can look forward to the following, reviews and observations on the panel discussions for Sony Entertainment (The Grudge & Resident Evil: Apocalypse), 20th Century Fox (Alien vs. Predator & Fantastic Four), Serenity, and Firefly. In addition, round table interviews were held with Jude Law, Giovanni Ribissi, and part of the cast and crew of Smallville. I’ll even toss in a movie review for Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, because I’m just that kind of guy.
Plus, pictures, pictures, and more pictures. All right, maybe not quite that many pictures. Look for updates on these, plus a few other issues through out the week.
